In African countries previously, luxury cars were not very popular as it was regarded as the poverty capital of the world. In many statistics, it is still regarded as the poverty capital, however, with the rise of business moguls like Dangote, Otedola, high and rising politicians, and wealthy people from many other walks of life, luxury cars are getting comfortable staying in Africa as luxury brands like Porsche, Lamborghini, Range Rover, Rolls-Royce and so on are no longer strange sights. In cities like Lagos, it’s not strange to see a long convoy of luxury cars cruising the town.
Here are the top five African countries with the most luxury cars.
1. South Africa:
Wondering how many celebrities spend their money? The simple answer is luxury, they spend on luxury items like cars, buildings, jewelry, and so on. The majority of the luxury cars here belong to celebrities – actors, musicians and so on. According to revenue generated, Porsche comes first followed by Ferrari and then Bentley. 2. Nigeria:
For many years, South Africa has been the continent’s highest connoisseur of luxury cars, but as of late, Nigeria’s Victoria Island, which boasts one of the highest concentrations of millionaires in the world, has taken over. Nigeria has a lot of interesting luxury cars ranging from Rolls-Royce Phantom, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes Maybach, Lamborghini Huracan Coupe, Mercedes Mclaren, Audi R8 among others.

3. Kenya:
Kenya has a wild variety of supercars roaming its streets, being driven by the successful and those who deserve it. Some of the luxury cars you would see in Kenya includes Rolls-Royce Dawn, Rolls-Royce Phantom, BMW i8, Mercedes Benz G-wagon, Aston Martin DB9, Mercedes Maybach, Lamborghini Murcielago, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, with the BMW M series being the most common.

4. Egypt:
